Dylan Thornton Heating Up Through April Runs
MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (April 12, 2024) While this past weekend may not have ended the way Dylan Thornton had wanted, the month of April has been good so far with a trio of top-five runs and two podiums.
Peeking back to April 4 at Stuart Speedway, IMCA Modified action yielded a runner-up finish. Marshalltown the following night, a seven-position climb resulted in a fourth-place run. On ton Boone Speedway on April 6, Thornton made another impressive run through the field, going 12th to second over the 25-lap event.
A blemish on an otherwise great start to the month, April 12 at Marshalltown saw a DNF while running top five with the IMCA Stock Cars. According to Thornton's Facebook page, the culprit was the Radiator, and the result was a 23rd-place finish.
Hopping to wide tires for his next outing, Lucas Oil MLRA at Cedar County Raceway is next on Thursday, April 18.
